About Peter Krueger
About Peter Krueger
Peter Krueger is a dedicated dahlia hybridizer based in Burnaby, BC. He’s been growing dahlias for over 25 years and hybridizing for 20. As the long-time president of the Vancouver Dahlia Society, Peter has played a key role in cultivating a strong dahlia community in the region.
He has registered more than 20 dahlia varieties — six in the most recent year alone. Each one carries the prefix PGK, a blend of his and his wife Gisela’s initials, followed by the name of a friend or family member he wishes to honour.
Peter’s introductions are all show-quality dahlias, officially judged and approved for exhibition — making them strong contenders for the show bench and stunning additions to any garden.
